Never done it before. A new activity, it was to me. Seeing how sacred it was done got me into thinking it was a form of ritual/cultism. As I watched the act and saw the way the Americans walked, I began to wonder. What could be going through their minds? What are they thinking about? What are they ruminating upon? I asked myself.
As I walked the labyrinth in Leitchfield, Kentucky, United States of America, I began to meditate. Thinking of how I can effect change in Nigeria's healthcare sector became my obsession. Diverse thoughts and suggestions ran through my mind. I couldn't just leave the labyrinth in a hurry, as I had a mind-engaging moment. An interesting one at that! What can I do for my world? What can I do for my generation, stared me in the face. I realize the power of imagination and meditation.
Meditation is an active process. Its the practice of thinking deeply in silence. The wisest man that ever lived in Bible history, Solomon, engaged the power of meditation. He said 'I communed with my heart' (Eccl 1:16). Someone once asked Bishop David Oyedepo, "What do you do with your time?" He replied 'I read and I think '.
Great achievers are performers of meditation. Success is deliberate and intentional. No man attains great heights by accident. Success is not a product of accident. Great scientists and Nobel Prize winners engaged the power of meditation in their inventions. The society need more persons who can meditate and create things out of the unseen. Yes, people who can think things into existence!
You've got a lot inside of you.The creative nature of God is in you. You're full of treasures. The world will arise at the revelation of the treasures in you only if you could just 'think' them into reality.
You can become great in life. You can make blueprints on the earth. Your name can be noised abroad. Yes! You can make it to the top. Just sit and think the change you seek in your generation. Create your future now and think of what to do for your generation.
Remember, 'Life is not for personal consumption but for generational affectation'
Best wishes,
Courage.
