A Special Gift

I was only fifteen but I remember when it happened.

Something took place inside of me. Not only did something depart from me but something came into me. I was not the same person.

There was a change inside. There was a transformation. My life had a new meaning.

I received a special gift. Yes, a special gift! A special gift that words can't describe. That soundless, boundless and unfathomable gift.

Yes, a special gift that nullified my disqualifications in the King's presence. A special gift that nullified that spiritual bloodhound-like foe that began its work at the cradle of human race and has followed the human race down through the stream of centuries until the present hour.

A special gift!

I mean a special gift that nullified the mystery that turned philosophy into poetry.

Yes, a special gift!

A special gift indeed from my lover, personal counsellor, and beautifier of my soul.

So much love has he shown me. So much love have I found in him. So much, too much to quantify.

Unmeasurable and Unquantifiable is His love towards me.

For from the day I received that special gift till now, I have never had the first regret.

So glad to say i received the gift of SALVATION.

Yes, the gift of salvation!

The Newman experience to me is one of the best experiences that has ever happened to me. I am forever grateful to God for the salvation of my soul.
